Most of our 43 members spend their working week commuting between Reading and various business parks like Green Park or Winnersh Triangle. Driving a sensible hatchback on the A33 makes sense for 5 days a week. But when Friday afternoon hits, that car can feel a bit dull for a trip to the Cotswolds. Our swap program lets you drop off your daily driver at our Station Road hub and switch into something with more life for the next 48 hours.

The process is built around a simple 48-hour booking window. You open the OHC app on Wednesday, pick one of our 7 performance models, and we handle the logistics. By the time you finish your last stand-up meeting on Friday, your weekend car is valeted and sitting in one of our 3 dedicated bays near Reading station. We check the tyre pressures and fill the tank so you don't have to waste time at a petrol station on your way out of town.

We don't keep hundreds of cars that sit gathering dust. We maintain a tight selection of vehicles that actually handle well on the B-roads around Henley and the Chilterns. Right now, our members have access to cars like a 2021 Alpine A110 and two Porsche 718 Caymans. These aren't stripped-out track cars; they are comfortable enough for a trip to the coast but fast enough to make the drive feel like a real break from your screen.

To keep things running smoothly, we only onboard 3 new members per month. This ensures that when you want a car for a specific weekend, like a bank holiday in May, you aren't fighting 150 other people for the keys. We found that a ratio of 6 members per performance car works best. This keeps the availability high and the cars in good condition. Honestly, we're not the cheapest option in Berkshire, but we are the only ones who let you swap cars as easily as you commit code.

The monthly cost is £685, which covers your weekday car, the weekend swaps, insurance, and all maintenance. There is no long-term debt and no 3-year finance contract to sign. If your project ends or you move away from Reading, you just give us 28 days' notice. We handle the paperwork and the road tax, leaving you to focus on the drive. You can visit us at 58 Station Road to see the cars on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00.
